Speaking at FlashMove Singapore User Group

Some time ago, I received an invitation to speak at the next FlashMove Singapore User Group (FSUG) session on the topic of animation.

I’m really excited about the session, and have since been planning the agenda of what I believe will interest both Flash designers and developers. Of course, since it’s only what I believe, I’ve decided to post the content that I’ll be talking about here.

I welcome any comments with regards to the talk, so that I may be able to improve the entire experience of the session. With this being my maiden experience as a speaker, I really wish to be able to present a talk that really matters. :)

Here’s the outline that I’ve planned so far.

  • Introduction of Animation
  • Timeline Base
    • Frame by Frame
    • Shape
    • Motion
    • 3rd Party Tools
  • Code base
    • Inbuilt tween engines
      • Examples
      • Do’s and Don’ts
    • External tween engines
      • Examples
      • Do’s and Don’ts
  • Advanced animation topics
    • Still researching…

Which of the topics above interest you the most?
Is there anything else about animation you wish to know about?

Leave a comment and let me know, I’ll do my best to include them into the session! 😉
